Genaro Arroyo Garcia

Genaro Arroyo Garcia, 77, went to be with our Lord on December 2, 2022. Born to Genaro Arroyo and Maria Luisa Garcia on March 29, 1945 in Mexico City, MX. He married Lourdes Alcantara in 1969. Together, they courageously migrated to the United States first settling in Chicago, IL then the Wichita area where they raised their children. Genaro provided for his family in many ways, most notably as a law enforcement officer in Mexico, working for Safelite for over 10 years and as a real estate investor for the last 15 years. However, his proudest achievement was the success of his children. His is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Connie Covarrubias. He is survived by his wife, Lourdes; his sister, Carmen Avila; his daughter, Maria; his sons, Genaro, Marcos (Jennifer), and Rodolfo; his six grandchildren, Antonio, Briana, Nicolas, Nadia, Cruz, and Evann.Rosary will be at 7:00 pm, Tuesday, December 6, 2022; Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am, Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at Church of the Magdalen Catholic Church.Memorials have been established with: Church of the Magdalen Catholic Church, 12626 E. 21st St. N., Wichita, KS 67206; American Cancer Society, P.O.
