Arlo Matthew Bauer, 88, loving father, died Tuesday, December 6, 2022. Rosary will be at 5:00 pm, Monday, January 9, 2023; Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am, Tuesday, January 10, 2023, both at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Preceded in death by his wife, Eva Jean Bauer. Survived by his sons, Ed Bauer, Tim (Joanne) Bauer, Bob Bauer, Jerry (Tamara) Bauer; daughter, Kathy (John) Stefanek; 11 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren. A memorial has been established with: The Lord’s Diner, 520 N. Broadway, Wichita, KS 67214. Services in care of Downing & Lahey Mortuary - East Chapel.

Arlo was a gentleman at all times. He was generous, funny, helpful, smart, determined, and a great father to his kids and husband to his wife. He helped me with my car a couple times when I was in college and had hardly a cent to my name. My sympathies to the family. He will be missed. VTW.
