Linda Marie Super, 54, was welcomed into Heaven on December 18, 2022, in Wichita, Kansas. Linda graduated from Wichita State University with a degree in business and spent her career working as an FDIC bank examiner, specializing in fraud. Her career allowed her travel extensively across the US and enjoy memorable trips to a variety of towns and cities. On January 8, 1993, Linda married Jay Super in Wichita, KS. Their nearly 30-year marriage was filled with love, fun, and adventures, and produced her greatest joys, beloved sons Kristopher and Jonathan. Her enormous pride in Kris and Jon shone through every conversation; she loved sharing their many achievements and successes and her pride in the exceptional men they grew to be. Linda was deeply grounded in her faith and devoted to her family. Her generosity and kindness were hallmarks of her loving personality. Her life was rich and full, a life well-lived. She loved Jay, Kris, and Jon beyond measure. Her interests included reading, gardening and needlepoint, and she was an unfailing good sport who enjoyed outdoor activities with her husband and sons, enthusiastically participating in kayaking, fossil hunting, and mountain climbing. Linda was an exceptional baker and cook whose recipes were frequently requested--and generously shared. Survivors include siblings Jim Lacore, Gary Lacore, Gail Becker, Dan Lacore, Jane Lacore, and Janet Loehrke; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Also surviving are Linda’s beloved friends who shared their hope, love, and support. Memorial contributions to Dream Foundation: Giving Life to Final Dreams, may be sent in care of the funeral home, 10515 W. Maple Street, Wichita, KS 67209.

Guestbook

  1. My deepest sympathies to Jay, Kris, Jon and the whole Lacore family. May she now rest and be with the angels.
    Michele Budin – cousin

  2. All my sympathy and love goes out to Jay, Kris, and Jon. You are missing a wonderful wife and mother who I know is resting peacefully because of your love.

  3. I was so sorry to learn of Linda’s passing. She was a great person and brought an “understanding “ to bank examinations that is not often the case. So sorry for her family’s loss. God Bless.
