Guestbook

  1. Jim was the best neighbor to my brother in Riverside for many years. Such a kind man who put others first, had the best smile & word of encouragement. Prayers & support to his beautiful wife, Shell.

  2. Jim & Shelley are 2 of the nicest humans to ever walk the planet. We were proud to call them friends and just feel terrible that we haven’t seen them since Covid. Jim actually did some volunteering for my employer Senior Services delivering groceries to homebound seniors during the shutdown. They both were wonderful supporters for many charitable endeavors. All our love and prayers to Shelley and their daughters.

    Sincerely,
Kelley Krahn & Chris Heiman Krahn

  3. So so sad to hear about Jim. He was one of the nicest human beings I have ever known. Shelley.. my heart aches for you and your family. He will forever reside in our hearts.

  4. As a friend and former coworker of my “Shell Shell” I know how close she and Jim are. I say are because that love will never change. Their complete devotion to each other was an example for all of us. If Jim had a flaw (which I’m sure he didn’t!) it would be that if he had his way, their gorgeous home would be turned into a pet sanctuary…my goodness how he loved animals! My prayers are with you Shell Shell and your girls. I’m just a phone call away my friend. I love you and your sweet soul.

  5. Deepest sympathies from Heartland Animal Hospital . We have had the privilege of knowing Jim / Shelly and their friendship is an honor. Both have a love for animals that is admirable and they have entrusted us with their care for many years . Much love and prayers to this family .

    peace; Dr.Bill Breault

  6. Shelley, Jim was such a special guy in his love of dogs. He was also a very sweet and kind man and will be so very missed. You are in thoughts, prayers and heart.
    “When someone you love
    becomes a memory,
    that memory becomes
    a treasure.”

  7. JIm made my best friend Shelley very happy. That’s all I needed to know to love him, too.He was a kind man and, now that he is pure spirit, I am sure he will be watching over her as he always put her first in his life. Thank you, Jim for all the years you made her feel treasured. She will always love and treasure you. Love is forever, whatever form the loved one is currently in.

  8. I am very sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. We send sincere condolences to the family. He and I would visit at the back fence as he was often out in the yard with his beloved pets. I didn’t know him well but he was always kind and friendly. It was a pleasure to visit with him on my walks, and enjoy his furry friends together. Riverside neighbors, Anna & Paul

  9. Jim was such a great guy to work with. I’m very sorry for your loss Shelley.
