I met Charlene at the Ronald house (1998)When i arrived for my portion of the volunteer time she was getting ready to
leave. We had time to catch up on the latest in our lives. a couple of times a year we would lunch after I stopped volunteering . She was such a good person to talk to and be friends with! She did soo many things i loved hearing abt all of it!! We lost touch for few years but i found her on Facebook. We intended to get together somehow around Covid yrs but we didn’t get to. I feel such a loss knowing i won’t see her now!! I am soo sorry for your loss!! Great friend and Mom !! and special family!! Elaine Carney
Thank you so much for sharing this Elaine. Mom was an avid supporter of the Ronald McDonald House and appreciated all of the friends she made there.
Very sad to hear of Char passing. I was a granddaughter of one of Bob and Char’s neighbors, and she was the kindest woman. She and my grandma were good friends until my grandma passed in 2021. Sending condolences and prayers to the family.
