Dear Jane and Nancy, please know I send you my deepest sympathy. Though I won’t be able to attend today’s celebration, I know your hearts will be filled with lovely sentiments about your graceful, lovely mother. Though I barely knew her I know her beautiful, smart daughters and I am sure you reflect what she taught you.
I believe I first met her when Nancy and I were student hostesses at the Red Cross Blood Donors’ banquet ( can’t imagine how we were selected) but I recall meeting you and your Mom both. Jane, our lives have connected many times …. in a WSU classroom and social occasions of every kind. I always leave your company wanting a little bit more.
I think the qualities you two have had
reflect on June. I hope that those memories will be sweet reminders all your life.
Love,
Marni
