Patricia Josephine Rausch joined her Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 1, 2023. Pat is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Cletus J. Rausch. Pat was 84 years old and passed in peace and surrounded by love after living for months with a declining heart. We are grateful for Pat and her incredible loving and giving spirit. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, and person! Pat was born on August 6, 1938, in Conway Springs, Kansas to Peter Roman Berndsen and Clarissa Elizabeth Zoglemann. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her granddaughter, Amanda Rausch. She is survived by her husband, Cletus; and her six children, Denise Merrifield, Charlene Gerlach, Randall, Russell, Ronald, and Robert; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also leaves four sisters that she loved dearly, Joyce Babich, Carol Ingle, Brenda Horsch, and Janet Robertson. Pat was devoted to her faith, her family, and helping others. She was a blessing to many. In lieu of customary remembrances, the family appreciates contributions to Harry Hynes Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, KS 67202, or St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, 11000 Southwest Blvd., Wichita, KS 67215. Rosary will be 6:30 pm, Thursday, June 8, 2023; Funeral Mass at 10:00 am, Friday, June 9, 2023, both at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Schulte, KS, followed by burial at St. John Cemetery in Clonmel, KS.
