Pauline Scheffler, 96, loving wife, mom, grandma, and great-grandma, died August 23, 2023. Rosary at 7 pm, Tuesday, August 29; Funeral Mass at 10 am, Wednesday, August 30, both at Church of the Resurrection Catholic Church. Preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Bessie Bunting; husband, Harris Scheffler; sister, Teresa Woods. Survived by her children, Sherilyn (John) Hurst of Valley Center, KS, David (Pam) Scheffler of Wisconsin Dells, WI, Gregory (Rhonda) Scheffler, Brent Scheffler, both of Wichita, Anita (John) Araiza of Douglass, KS, Matthew (Gwen Parks) Scheffler of Wichita; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren. A memorial has been established with: Church of the Resurrection Catholic Church, Music Ministry, 4910 N. Woodlawn, Bel Aire, KS 67220. Services in care of Downing & Lahey Mortuary - East Chapel.

She was the best mom you could ask for
She was like a second Mom to me growing up. I spent more time at her house than mine. I remember she made the best peanut butter and jelly sandwiches! I will miss her.
