Steven Alan Loebsack, 72, died Tuesday, September 26, 2023. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm, Saturday, September 30, 2023; Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm, Sunday, October 1, 2023, both at Downing & Lahey East Mortuary. Preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Bette Loebsack; grandson, Dalton James Heard; son-in-law, Damian Avery. Survived by his wife, Vicki Loebsack; sons, Kiel Loebsack of Oklahoma City, OK, Mike (Ronnie) Gideon of Russell, KS; daughters, Stephanie (Benjie) Salsbury of Wichita, Amy (Donnie Jr.) Robinson of Andover; 11 grandchildren.

So sorry for your loss. Steve was a great guy and awesome builder . It was great seeing him come into the office through the years always brought positivity and funny stories to share. He will be missed .
We (Steve/Vicki & Kim/and myself) spent the better part of a week in Orlando together several years ago, and another occasion in Las Vegas, both were for attending The International Builders Show and quite a bit of exploring! Steve and I were also partners for a time in a small business that he was so easy to work with. I have known Steve for 25+ yrs and don’t think I ever heard a negative comment from him ever. Truly a friend and will be missed by many I’m sure.

I designed many site plans for the houses he built and he always brought joy into the building with him when we talked. We joked that he was the Bionic Man after his surgeries years ago and the world is a lesser place without him.

To Vicki and family I’m very sorry to hear about Steve’s passing I’d like to give you my condolences. He was our assistant basketball coach when we played basketball with Joe Damilini at Cathedral. He would show up every year when we had our little get together at Christmas time. It was always good to see him and although that’s the only time I really saw him once a year it’s like we were friends forever and always enjoyed talking with him as he enjoyed all of us he will be dearly missed.
Good bye old friend . I know that you will keep everyone smiling in heaven. Burned in my mind will always be the baseball and football games we shared together. my condolences to your family and the one you leave behind. Rest now and I will see you someday again.Your friend Kelly Walton
