LeAnn Marie Howell, 65, Special Education Teacher, died Wednesday, September 27, 2023. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Monday, October 2, 2023; Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am, Tuesday, October 3, 2023, both at Downing & Lahey East Mortuary. Preceded in death by her parents, Charles, Sr. and Phyllis Mansfield. Survived by her husband, Robert "Bob" Howell, Jr.; daughters, Melissa (Brandon) Hall of Wichita, Vanessa (Nicholas) Ochsner; granddaughters, Sofia and Rebecca Ochsner; grandsons, Ryne and Connor Hall; brothers, C. Robert (Dawn) Mansfield, Jr., Thomas Mansfield. A memorial has been established with: Susan G. Komen, 13770 Noel Rd., Ste. 801889, Dallas, TX 75380.

So many people here in Vancouver, WA that have fond memories of LeAnn. When I run into people from fisher’s they often ask about LeAnn and how she’s doing. This will be tough newss to share because it’s too soon to say good-bye. We took a few trips together – Seaside, Seattle, Disneyland. We decided that our grandkids would never be named Jacob! The ups and downs of our kids’ teen years. She was fun, she was tough yet sensitive at the same time. she could be so exasperating! She called me a goodie 2-shoes and made it her mission to lead me astray! I will never forget my friend, LeAnn.
