Marilyn Campbell

May 6, 1951 ~ October 18, 2023
Marilyn Campbell, 72, peacefully passed away on October 18th, surrounded by her family, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born on May 6th, 1951, to her loving parents, Allen and Lola Daniels, both of whom preceded her in death. Marilyn is survived by her devoted husband, Ron Campbell, from Wichita, KS, her son, Jason Herron (Liz), and her beloved grandchildren: Obadiah, Jasper, and Esme Herron. She is also survived by her sister, Debra Daniels of Derby, KS, along with many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and an aunt, and uncle.
Marilyn poured her heart into the lives of those around her. A natural conversationalist, she cherished every opportunity to catch up with friends, sharing stories, joys, and life's little moments. Marilyn's faith anchored her life and passing. She transitioned from this world with unwavering faith in Christ, drawing strength from His promises and looking forward to a blessed reunion.
In her lifetime, Marilyn held several roles. At Greene Vision, she served as an optician, and her tenure as an Activities Director at Larksfield Place was particularly close to her heart, where she found joy in her interactions with the elderly, infusing their days with meaningful conversations and care.
Marilyn adorned her home with many paintings she created, each piece reflecting the warmth of her soul. With her beloved husband, Ron, they enjoyed travel, making lasting memories with good friends in places like Santa Barbara, Palm Springs, and an unforgettable train journey through the Canadian Rockies.
As we remember Marilyn, her undying love for her cherished grandchildren, friends, and family stands out, reminding us of the warm-hearted legacy she leaves behind.
