Vicki L. Lauer, 54, Homemaker, died Wednesday, January 10, 2024. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Sunday, January 14, 2024, Rosary will be at 7:00 pm, Sunday, January 14, 2024, Funeral Service will be at 10:30 am, Monday, January 15, 2024, all at Downing & Lahey West Mortuary. Preceded in death by her mother, Kathleen "Kathey" Penachio; sister, Glenda Penachio. Survived by her husband of 23 years, Mark C. Lauer; father, Danny Penachio; brother, Gale Penachio; numerous nieces and nephews; and beloved pets, Blue the cat, and Oaklee the dog; In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established with Kansas Humane Society, 3313 North Hillside, Wichita, Kansas 67219 , The Lord's Diner, 520 North Broadway Street, Wichita, Kansas 67214 , and Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 South Market, Wichita, Kansas 67202.
