Elizabeth (Liz) D. Rodee

Elizabeth (Liz) D. Rodee 68, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, died peacefully on Wednesday, January 17, 2024. Liz was an active part of the Wichita Music Theater community, Westwood Presbyterian Church, and dearly loved to volunteer at Botanica, The Wichita Gardens. She had a love for gardening, travel, and music. A funeral service will be held in her honor at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at Westwood Presbyterian Church and a graveside service will be at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at Maplewood Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Emporia, KS. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Bessie Grace Dobler; son, Andrew Glenn Rodee. She is survived by her husband, Mike Rodee; son, Mark (Becky) Rodee, all of Wichita, KS; daughters, Aly (Jim) Beley of Alexandria, VA, Kaitlyn (Christopher) Rodee-Clarke of Kansas City, MO; brother, Neil (Beth) Dobler of Topeka, KS; grandchildren, Kylee Rodee, Alexandria Rodee, Makayla Rodee, and Jimmy Beley. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for you to consider a donation to Newman University, The Andy Rodee and Brenda Rodee Memorial Endowed Award Fund . The memorial was established by the family to support student-athletes. Neither Andy Rodee nor his Aunt Brenda Rodee had an opportunity to attend college. This award is a remembrance of their lives and the impact they made on their families.
