Craig Fredrick Lill

June 12, 1973 ~ July 3, 2024
Craig Fredrick Lill, 51, passed away on July 3, 2024, surrounded by family.
Born on June 12, 1973 to Robert Joseph Lill and Susan (Seefeld) Lill in Wichita, Kansas, Craig was a graduate of Wichita East High School, served in the U.S. Army National Guard, was a Journeyman Electrician, and loyal employee of Loper C-I Electric for over 20 years. Most importantly, he was a proud father to Mitchell and Georgia, who were, by far, his greatest love and accomplishment.
Craig is preceded in death by his father, Robert Lill. He is survived by his children, Mitchell Lill and Georgia Lill; mother, Susan Lill; siblings, Bradley Lill (Tammy), Julie Lill Lowrance (Jeffrey), and Lisa Noel (Lionel); nephews and nieces, Samuel Lill, Brittan Lill, Mason Lill, Emma Lowrance, and Matthew Lowrance.
Craig was a kind and genuine optimist with a bright-eyed smile that lit up a room and a presence that welcomed anyone that crossed his path. His life leaves a mark on all who knew him. Well done, Craig. We loved you deeply and will miss you always.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 27 at Sleepy Hollow Parkway (3400 block East Sleepy Hollow Drive) where he, his siblings, and friends played as children. Please prepare for parking in the Sleepy Hollow neighborhood.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Craig’s name to the American Heart Association, 5800 Foxridge Dr., Mission, KS 66202.
Services in care of Downing & Lahey East Mortuary.
My thoughts and prayers are with the Lill family! I have to laugh cause I met Craig when our office was doing a remodel and he was the lead electrician. If you had a question you found Craig. He would take care of it or find someone that could. He was very positive and kind hearted person. He spoke of his kids often. Its funny how you meet people in life for just a brief time and yet they make a mark. RIP Craig! You will be missed!
Rest Craig, until you hear at dawn, the low, clear reveille of God. Thank you for your service to this nation. U.S. Army, National Guard.
