I worked with Eileen as well, she always made you laugh. You could never have a bad day with her around. She always treated everyone with respect. I will never forget Eileen.
My condolences to all.

My Aunt LaLa was a sweetheart. She traveled as part of a missionary group to Brazil in the 1960s and when she came back, she lived with us. She and I shared a bed and when I saw her this past July, I asked her if she wanted to relive those days and I could crawl in bed again. She laughed and said “sure.” She was the last surviving member of her siblings, and we joked it’s because she never married or had kids. But she had all her nieces and nephews. When we were little she would take us to Colonial Ice Cream on our birthday. I remember when she lived in an apartment with a pool and we would get to go visit and swim. She was the fun aunt.
She was a long time member of St Thomas Aquinas parish. Her Catholic faith was very important to her.
As we got older and we started getting married and then our kids got married, we would always get Aunt Eileen on the dance floor for “Come on Eileen. “ There are often times I give my kids a look or say something and they will say, “oh my gosh mom, you look just like Aunt Eileen.” She has just always been a part of our life and we will miss her.
She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Raymond (Ann) Dreiling, Catherine (Robert) Harkness, Mildred (Dave) Schaible, Jeanette(Glen) Pfortmiller , Pat Boswell and Bernie Dreiling. They are all together now – having a cigarette and dancing a polka!
She is survived by her brother-in-law Ron Boswell and sister-in-law Toni Dreiling as well as 13 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews and all of their spouses. My kids – her great nieces and nephew will never forget playing games at Christmas with her. It was a hoot!
Prayers always. May she rest in peace.

I had the privilege to work with Eileen at Wichita Surgical. She was very good at her job and extremely generous with her time and energy. I have thought of her often and I am sure she is in the arms of our heavenly Father.
I did Eileen’s hair for years and I always enjoyed her company. She always gave me a good laugh. Prayers to her and her family!
