Phyllis Howes Walker

Phyllis Howes Walker passed away peacefully at the age of 77 on July 27, 2024. Preceding her in death are her parents, Edward Howes and Bernice Howes. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Larry Walker Sr.; two children, Vicki Ryan (Jim) and Larry Walker, Jr. (Nicole). She was the proud grandmother of three grandsons, Bryson, Jesse, Logan (Alora); and one great granddaughter, Ella; and bonus granddaughter, Cassidee. Phyllis is also survived by two brothers, William Howes (Joan) and Robert Howes (Heidi); brother-in-law, Lee; and sister-in-law, DeAnn; and many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.Phyllis was employed with Beech Aircraft Corp. as a Radio and Electronics Assembler, for 29 years before retiring in 2010.She expressed and wanted to thank her wonderful family and friends for all the love, kindness, prayers and support they have showered upon her.Visitation will be from 3:00 - 5:00 pm, Sunday, August 4, 2024; Celebration of Life will be at 10:00 am, Monday, August 5, 2024, both at Downing & Lahey East Mortuary. Entombment to follow at Ascension Cemetery, Bel Aire, KS. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity.
