Earlene Young, 73, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, died Tuesday, August 6, 2024. Rosary will be at 7:00 pm, Friday, August 16, 2024; Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am, Saturday, August 17, 2024, both at All Saints Catholic Church. Preceded in death by her parents, William and Delana Dawdy; brother, William Dawdy, Jr. (Sylvia). Survived by her husband, Gilbert Young; sons, Travis (Kristen) Young, both of Wichita, Matthew (Shana) Young of Rosemount, MN; daughter, Katie (Chris) Cascia of Hutchinson; sisters, Barbara (Frank) Ruggiero, Marian Lux, both of Wichita; brother, David (Lorraine) Dawdy of Haysville; grandchildren, Joshua, Abigail, Jacob, Alex, Dylan, Brandon, Logan, Louis, Eli; and many other family members. A memorial has been established with: Catholic Charities, 437 N. Topeka St., Wichita, KS 67202. Services in care of Downing & Lahey Mortuary - East Chapel.
