Randi J. Bunn, 72, retired executive assistant, died Tuesday, September 24, 2024. Memorial Service will be at 1:00 pm, Saturday, September 28, 2024, at Downing & Lahey West Mortuary. Funeral Service will be Live Streamed and available to view by clicking "Watch Event" below. Randi was born in Wichita, KS to Charles J. and Joan Drollinger. She was united in marriage to Scott H. Bunn on December 9, 1977. Randi started her career at New York Life and LearJet. The family moved to California where Randi worked at Northrup on the B-2 program. The family moved back to Wichita where Randi finished her career at ZTM. Randi was loving and caring to everyone she met and was known for her brownies and cookies. Preceded in death by parents, Charles Joseph and Joan Drollinger; grandmothers, Hazel Tomlinson and Ada Drollinger. Survived by husband of 47 years, Scott Henry Bunn; daughters, Michelle Carter, Kara (Ed) Hardesty; son, Scott A. (Terri) Bunn; grandchildren, Tanner Carter, Andrew (Ashley) Bunn, D'Anna Bunn, Caitlin Bunn; three great-grandchildren; sister, Shannon (Lyle) Smith; nieces, Sara (Lloyd) Bircher, Amy (Zach) Tinkler, Lisa (Ryan) Grunz; nephew, Geoffrey (Kecia) Smith; and her loving dog, Harper. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with: Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside, Wichita, KS 67219.

  1. I worked with Randi for three years at the USPS remote encoding center. She was always the sweetest and her smile would light up the room. Sending love and prayers to her family.

  2. I knew Randi from school at Maize. We have re-connected in the last 5 years by sharing, prayers,thoughts, and encouragements of the same diagnosis. I shall always be thankful to having this time with her. My thoughts and prayers to her family. Phyllis Elliot
