Allan H. Johnson, 86, retired Boeing stress and avionic engineer, died Saturday, October 12, 2024, in Wichita, Kansas.Allan was born in Bellingham, Washington. He grew up in Lemmon, South Dakota on a ranch. Allan received a Bachelor’s in Engineering from North Dakota State University and a Masters Degree in Structural Engineering from Montana State University.Memorial Service in Wichita will be at 3:00 pm, Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Downing & Lahey Mortuary - East Chapel. Burial Services will be held at a later date in Lemmon, South Dakota.Preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Florence Johnson; son, Alvin Johnson; and brother, Corbin Johnson.Survived by his wife, Erlinda P. Johnson; sons, Jeff (Erika) Johnson, Jay (Jamie) Johnson; daughters, Tracee (Bruce) Eidenschink, Adelfa Kurtz, Almira (Michael) Hammond, Alleryn Ebaugh; nineteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; brother, Edwin Johnson; sisters, Gwen Huffman, Kathy (Mark) Laberee; and sister-in-law, Suzie Johnson.
