Carol Quirarte
March 28, 1947 ~ October 18, 2024
Sweet, precious, beautiful wife, mama, and nana, Carol Quirarte, 77, was surrounded by all her family when she took her last breath on earth and first breath in heaven with Jesus on Friday, October 18, 2024. Carol was a tennis champion, a retired Presidential Secretary, and truly made an impact on so many lives here on earth. She served her purpose well and she was a true disciple of the Lord. Heaven gained a beautiful, loving, caring, kind, selfless and compassionate angel.
Rosary will be at 7:00 pm, Friday, November 1, 2024; Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 am, Saturday, November 2, 2024, both at Christ the King Catholic Church.
Preceded in death by her parents, Millard and Laura Suby; son, Robert Ray Messenger, Jr.; brother, Milford Suby. Survived by her husband, Edward "Ed" Quirarte; daughter, Dawn Celeste Messenger; grandchildren, Mercedez Lynn (John) Nelson, Braxton Riley Eck, Lexi Bra'Awn Carol Eck, Jaxson Bradley Easton Eck, Xane Ridge Deveruex Eck; great-grandchildren, William Nelson, Azoria Tomlinson, Isabelle Nelson; brothers, David (Dottie) Suby, Vernon Suby.
A memorial has been established with: Christ The King Catholic School, 4501 West Maple Street, Wichita, KS 67209.

Our deepest sympathy
Over 40 years of an incredible friendship where tennis was our bond. I’m still in shock from losing my best friend. We laughed a lot & she was always there for me. Such a beautiful lady.
