  1. So sorry to hear of Fr. Scheme’s passing. As a fellow classmate at the PCJ we enjoyed studying together and sharing in the discernment process of priesthood.

  2. It breaks my heart to hear of Fr. Michael Shimm’s passing. He was the 1st President of our newly formed CYO group at St. Paul Catholic Church in Lyons. My husband & I were the 1st leaders. I was always so impressed with Michael in his work ethic, understanding of his Catholic faith & his love of Jesus. He was a great human & will greatly be missed.

  3. It breaks my heart of learning of Fr. Michael Schemm’s passing Michael Schemm as a senior in high school was the 1st President of our newly formed CYO group at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Lyons, KS.
I was always impressed with him for his organization, his love & knowledge of his Catholic faith. When I asked him what he planned to do after graduation & he saying he didn’t know I told him I could see him as a priest. I don’t know if the seed had been planted before that but that is the road he chose. We we delighted to be invited to his Ordination! He was a great human being.
    May you RIP Fr. Michael.

  4. Father Schemm was a special Priest in my life. Father Schemm was a blessing in my life while in Parsons: He guided me through this sorrowful time with my dad passing and a couple of months later, having to move my mother into Presbyterian Manor nursing home.
May Precious Memories ease your sorrow as time passes 🙏🏻🌹🙏🏻
