Frances Magdalena Schoenecker, 98, Homemaker, died Friday, January 17, 2025. Rosary will be at 10:00 am, Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 am, both on Friday, January 24, 2025, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Wichita, KS. Preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Magdalena Karolus; husband, Joseph Schoenecker; son, Mike Schoenecker; son-in-law, John McIntyre; one grandson; and eight siblings. Survived by her children, Tom (Brenda) Schoenecker, Dan (Susan) Schoenecker, Nancy (Mike) Brune, Elaine McIntyre, Joyce (Jim) Gardinier, Judy (James) Rowe, Gail (Dave) Kuestersteffen; twenty-seven grandchildren; forty-one great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with: St. Patrick Catholic Church, 2007 N. Arkansas Ave., Wichita, KS 67203. Services in care of Downing & Lahey Mortuary - West Chapel.

To the Schoeneker family. I am sorry for the loss of Frances. We met Joe and Frances when we lived in Southeast Kansas. Joe stopped by our house several times when he was selling insurance. He was quite a talker. You are in my thoughts and prayers. She was a great lady.
