I have had the honor and pleasure of being an honorary member of this family for the past 42 years. Deb and I met back in high school and have been best friends ever since. I know how much Dan loved his family and how much they will miss him.
I lovingly referred to Dan as “Pops”. I will always cherish our train rides commuting home from the Loop back in the day. I will miss our conversations about the trials and tribulations of our beloved White Sox. We always exchanged Christmas cards with the usual good wishes for a holiday season and in every card we always wrote “Go Sox!”. I will miss exchanging those holiday cards.
I will miss you Pops. You were quite the character and always made me laugh! May you rest in peace and as always “Go Sox!”
Love to you, my best friend Debbie, and your loving family.
Love,
Darlene
We love you Uncle ❤️
