Michael Allen Pearson

Michael Allen Pearson, 63, of Wichita, KS, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at Ascension Via Christi St. Francis Hospital, surrounded by the love of his family.
Born on December 26, 1961, in Manhattan, KS, Mike was the beloved son of Loren and Darlene (Rogers) Pearson. He graduated from Hays High School in 1980 and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Fort Hays State University. Following his education, he built a dedicated career as a sales representative at Culligan of Hays, where he faithfully served until his retirement in 2022.
Mike’s greatest joy in life was his family, especially his daughters and grandchildren. His love for them was unwavering, and he cherished every moment spent together. A devoted Fort Hays State University Tigers and Kansas City Chiefs fan, he enjoyed attending games and rooting for his favorite teams.
He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Darlene of Hays, KS; his sisters, Kathy Hoffman (Alan) of Hoisington, KS, Cory Garrett (Rob) of Dallas, TX, and Jean Canaday (Pat) of Wichita, KS; his daughters, Kristin Ring (Adam) of Wichita, KS, and Megan Pearson of Wichita, KS; and his five grandchildren, Hunter, Kyler, Kolby, Klara, and Kason.
He was preceded in death by his father, Loren.
A celebration of Mike's life will take place on Thursday, February 27, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. The service will begin with a rosary at 10:00 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, P. O. Box 7410354, Chicago, Illinois 60674-0354 in his memory.

Mike will always have a special place in my heart. We had so many wonderful memories together and I loved him dearly. I’m sending many loving hugs and comforting thoughts to his family.
