Phyllis Greenlee, 80, Retired Administrative Assistant at Boeing for 40 years, died Thursday, April 17, 2025.
Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am, Thursday, May 1, 2025, at Downing & Lahey West Mortuary. Graveside Service will be at 10:00 am, Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Maplewood Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Emporia, KS.
Preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Helen Groh. Survived by her husband, Dwight Greenlee.
A memorial has been established with: Sedgwick County Zoo, 5555 W. Zoo Blvd., Wichita, KS 67212.

My dear, dear Phyllis. Why I let time pass by without making contact I don’t know. But forever one thought of you has remained in my mind. As young grade schoolers, when I would spend the night at your house, you would fall asleep; and I would re-read a prayer on your bedroom wall. One I didn’t know. It read “Now I lay me down to sleep, the Lord I pray my soul to keep. If I should die before I wake, I pray the Lord my soul to take.” I was so afraid to go to sleep! The interpretation of a seven- or eight-year-old girl. Now I know your soul is at peace my dear friend. To you, Dwight, I extend my great sympathy. My very best, Connie Goldsberry
