Vicki Ann Lies
Vicki Ann Lies, 77, loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, died Wednesday, May 7, 2025. Vicki was a retired real estate loan officer for Intrust Bank. She loved to dance at Orchard Park and other venues, and recently became an avid traveler.
Rosary will be at 10:00 am, Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 am, both on Monday, May 12, 2025, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
Vicki is preceded in death by her father, E.C. "Shorty" Mies; mother, Margaret Ann Mies-Amberg; brothers, Mike Mies, Randy Mies; and sister, Sheryl Joski. She is survived by her son, Thomas (Sue) Rainer of Wichita, KS; daughter, Christie (Barry) Williams of Kansas City, MO; sister, Cindy Zimmerman of Wichita; brother, Larry (Jovita) Mies of Wichita, KS; grandchildren, Emily Ruzicka, Hannah Rainer, Noah Rainer, Jonah Rainer, Olivia Rainer, Hunter Williams, Ian Rainer, Elena Rainer, and Archer Williams.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established with: St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church Youth Ministries and St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 861 North Socora, Wichita, Kansas 67212. Services in care of Downing & Lahey Mortuary - West Chapel.

Vickie she will be dearly missed. At the dances her smile she was so sweet and cared so much for Jack and Betty I remember when she’d bring them to the dance she was always so caring and the sweet spirit. David and I will miss her a lot.
