Brian Christopher Keller, aged 48, passed away on August 11, 2025. He was born on March 30, 1977, in Wichita, Kansas to G. Lawrence “Terry” Keller and Mary Gretchen Keller. A proud lifelong resident of Wichita, he loved sharing stories about his hometown.

He graduated from Kapaun Mt Carmel High School in 1995 and remained a devoted fan of their sports teams. Following in his parents’ footsteps he proudly graduated from Newman University.

Brian had a deep love for sports – especially playing softball, cheering on The University of Miami and Indianapolis Colts football teams, University of North Carolina basketball and immersing himself in fantasy football.

His loyalty to his friends and family knew no end and he enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his family, adopting the nickname of “The Funcle.” His storytelling was legendary – often more entertaining than factual – and always made people smile.

He is survived his sister, Heather Keller Fuller (Ray) of Overland Park, KS; and brothers, G. Lawrence Keller III (Natalie) of Stockton, CA, Shaun Michael of Augusta, KS, and Matthew Cannon (Carla) of Crestwood, KY; along with 11 nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass will take place at 10:00 AM on Monday, August 18, 2025 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1321 N Stratford Lane, Wichita, KS.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Wichita Recovery Hub, 120 S Ida, Wichita, KS 67211.
