Russell Thrash

Russell Thrash, age 67 of Andale, Kansas, passed away Monday, August 25th, 2025, after a courageous battle with his health and lungs. His memorial services will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, September 6th, 2025, at Downing & Lahey West Mortuary.

Russell was a lifelong entrepreneur and the founder of TFM Services in Wichita, KS. He was a beloved husband, dad, pa, son, brother, uncle, nephew, friend and mentor. He worked hard, played hard, lived well, laughed often, loved and inspired much and many. He is irreplaceable, one-of-a-kind man who will be honored, cherished, remembered and loved by everyone he leaves behind.

Russell is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Joan Thrash; his brother, Tracy Thrash; sister-in-law, Brenda Thrash; brother-in-law, Kelly Moody; and his two nephews, Chris and Travis Thrash.

He is survived by his loving wife, Suzanne Thrash, and his 3 daughters and sons- in-law, Stephanie and Lance Ricketts, Jamie and Austin Washburn and Torie Thrash; brother and sister-in-law, Scott and Carol Thrash, brother, Darin Thrash and his sister, Dana Moody; grandchildren, Drake Ricketts, Jemma Washburn, Jett Ricketts, Rubie Ricketts, Axel Washburn and Goldie Washburn; nephews, Jeromy, Eric, Derek, Trevor, Lucas, Corbin, Miles and Hayden; nieces, Stacia, Tasha and Angelina; and last, but not least, his lil buddy Tommy the dog 😊; and endless amounts of family and friends .
