Helen A. Peare

Helen A. Peare, 97, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, died Sunday, September 7, 2025, surrounded by her family.

Rosary will be at 9:30 am, Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am, Thursday, September 11, 2025, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Andover, KS. The service will be live streamed and can be viewed by clicking “Watch” below.

Helen was an active member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church for many years, as well as being an Avon representative for 47 years. She had many friends and dedicated her life to helping others in need, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Preceded in death by her parents, Dan and Elizabeth Kraft; her husband of 50 years, Robert; sisters, Eva Mentha, Dorothy Sinn, Ida Caudell, Irene Goenner, Ruth Stukey, Louise Caudell; brother, Leo Kraft; sons-in-law, Jim Burgardt, Thomas Bette.

Helen is survived by her son, Dan (Mindi) Peare; daughters, Pam Burgardt, Linda Bette; grandchildren, Matt (Megan) Burgardt, Marc (Jordan) Burgardt, Megan (John) Flynn, Hayley (James) Blasi, Alex (fiancée, Sashka) Bette, Emily Bette, Parker (Megan) Greider, Robert (fiancée, Lynnea) Peare, Regan (William) Schwanke, Reilly Peare, and Carter Chance; 16 great-grandchildren.

Memorial has been established with St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 2701 S. Pattie, Wichita, KS 67216.
