Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Often in loss, we learn things about a person we never fully saw while they were alive. But Courtney was the exception; she lived openly, authentically, and wholeheartedly. Everyone who knew her already knew exactly who she was.

She loved deeply and without hesitation. She made people feel included, seen, and safe simply by being herself. Her presence created a space where others could breathe, laugh, and belong.

Courtney will be profoundly missed. She stood firm in what she believed, she was a loving cousin, and an even better friend. Her light touched so many, and it’s one we’ll carry with us always.

  2. Courtney has been a HUGE part of my life, and I will forever cherish our friendship, adventures, and memories. She will be greatly missed by my entire family, who have always viewed her as a bonus daughter, sister, and friend. Sending all my love and thoughts to Renae, Rodney, Stacey, Colby, Michael, and the rest of the family. I miss and love you all. I will miss you always, Gherkin.

  3. Court fought so hard and was one of the strongest people I knew. I’m sorry we didn’t get the chance to grow old and crazy together, because we would have had a blast. I miss her humor and sharp wit. I miss how much she was there for her friends when they needed her. I hope she is resting peacefully now, and I hope she knew how loved she was.

  4. To sum up such an incredible person in a few sentences is impossible. So I will just say that knowing Courtney and having her in my life is one of the greatest joys I have experienced. It has been my utmost pleasure to have been a part of her world.

  5. May you rest in peace Beautiful Lady. Courtney was a remarkable daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend to many . You always wanted to be better when hanging out with her. Besides the many memories and laughs, Courtney gave her family the priceless gift of researching and documenting our family history. She spent countless hours researching and traveling , finding the records and pictures, taking our family back many generations. Our family is Blessed to have had her for 43 years. Our prayers will continue for her, Renae, Stacie and the rest of her remarkable family. May she Rest in Peace until we meet again.
