Martha Watson

Martha Watson, 96, was rescued from her suffering, by Jesus, on January 6, 2026.  She was born and raised in Latham, KS on November 24, 1929.  She was a charter member of Westlink (Pathway) Church.  She was in the choir and went on to being in the bell choir.  She and her husband Max volunteered for the church in many functions. Martha and Max were married 72 years.  She was a homemaker and a wonderful loving mother.  She will be greatly missed, but it gives us comfort knowing that she is with family that has gone on before her.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mabel Masters; husband, Max Watson; daughter Teresa; brother, Dale Masters; and sister, Mary Lou Sheldon.  Martha is survived by her son, Scott (Ginny) Watson and daughter Julie (Joe) Wedan; grandchildren, Matt (Colette) Wedan, Tim (Lindsay) Wedan, and Vanessa (Kevin) Briggans; great grandchildren, Geogia, Quinn, Zoey, Violet, Lebron, Preslee, and Kevin.  Funeral service will be on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 10:00 am, at Pathway Church, 2001 N. Maize Rd, Wichita, KS.  A memorial has been established with Pathway Church.
