Dwayne F. Brown, 78, retired maintenance worker, died Monday, February 9, 2026.

Rosary will be at 5:30 pm, Thursday, February 12, 2026, Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am, Friday, February 13, 2026, both at Christ the King Catholic Church. Graveside Service will be 12:30 pm, Friday, February 13, 2026, at Kansas Veterans’ Cemetery, Winfield, Kansas.

Dwayne is preceded in death by his parents, Robert J. and Verla Beata Marie Brown; brothers, Ronald Brown, and Everett Brown; brother-in-law, Bob Schulte; and his grandparents, John S. Brown and Mathilda M. Wendling Brown. He is survived by his sisters, Dianna (Gary) Stokes of Colwich, KS, Geneva Schulte of Wichita, KS, Charlotte (Sam) Goode of Wichita, KS, Sharon (“C.A.”) Martin of Independence, MO; brothers, Steve (Lila) Brown of Goddard, KS, Clay Brown of Wichita, KS; sons, Russell Brown, Brian, Christopher and Gregory; eleven grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
