My sweet friend and neighbor in Greenwood Forest – many long walks and conversations. We managed to keep in touch for a long time. My deepest sympathy to the family – I know she will be deeply missed.

June 3, 1932 ~ February 19, 2026
Celebrating the life of Jimmye H. Clark, a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Born June 3, 1932 in Greenville, TX. She was raised and lived most of her life in Texas, moving to Wichita, KS the last 10 years of her life to be closer to her daughter. Jimmye passed away on February 19, 2026.
Jimmye graduated at the top of her class in 1949 from Greenville High School. She married Sep Priester in 1952. For 34 years they built a loving home, living in Texas, Tulsa, OK, and Houston, TX, until his passing in 1986. Following Sep’s death, and after many decades as a dedicated homemaker, Jimmye returned to the work force as a supervising receptionist at Raveneaux Country Club. She held that role for 17 years prior to retirement. In 2004 Jimmye reunited with her high school beau Allen Clark. They were married for 20 years until his passing in 2024.
Jimmye was a lifelong member of the Christian Church and always active in the church community. Her talent for decorating was a true gift that made every home a showplace. Loved ones will remember her as tenacious, loyal, diligent, elegant and a generous follower of Christ.
Graveside Service will be at 11:00 am, Friday, February 27, 2026, at Memoryland Memorial Park, Greenville, TX.
Preceded in death by her parents, John and Lora Hulsey; first husband, Sep Lee Priester; second husband, Allen Clark; sister, Jane Greaves.
Survived by her daughter, Pamela Harrod of Wichita; granddaughter, Kristy (Jarrett) Green; grandson, Brian (Lisa) Harrod; great-grandchildren, Caedmon, Crosby, Cormac; brother, Gene Hulsey; nieces and nephews, Tina, Teri, Lyn, Greg, Claire, Beth, Ben; Allen’s daughters, Lauree (Mark) Gallion, Cheryl (Phil) Mitchell; Allen’s grandchildren, Elliot (Samantha) Gallion, Nicholas Gallion, Dylan Mitchell, Ashley Mitchell; Allen’s great-grandchildren, Jacqueline, Graham.
A memorial has been established with: Alzheimer’s Association, Central & Western Kansas, 535 West Douglas, Suite 150, Wichita, KS 67213.
