Alyson Blair Elder, 45, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2026.
Alyson was born on January 9, 1981, in Coffeyville, Kansas. Alyson is preceded in death by her grandfather, Don Reardon. She is survived by her father, Robert “Bob” Pauzauskie; mother, Kelly Reardon; fiancé, Albert A. Madero; sons, Adam Elder, Adrian Elder; daughter, Audrey Martin; stepdaughter, Ali Madero; stepson, Anthony Madero; brother, Jacob Pauzauskie; half-sister, Alea Shakil; and grandmother, Faye “Nanny” Reardon.
She graduated from Field Kindley High School and went on to attend Kansas State University, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Aeronautics/Aviation/Aerospace Science and Technology. A proud Wildcat, Alyson carried her passion for aviation throughout her life.
The center of Alyson’s world was her children and her life was shaped by the deep love she had for them. Her greatest joy was time spent with them and her loving fiancé.
Alyson lived a life centered on simplicity, kindness, and connection. She had a special appreciation for small towns across Kansas and found beauty in quiet moments and meaningful experiences. She was known for her giving heart, always making sure those around her were cared for and supported.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Kansas Aviation Museum.
Alyson’s life was a reflection of generosity, curiosity, and a deep love for the skies. Her spirit will live on in every open horizon, every small-town road, and every flight that lifts toward the clouds.
