Karen Sue Stillwell

Karen Sue Stillwell, 83, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend died Tuesday, March 31, 2026.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Wednesday, April 8, 2026, Funeral Service will be at 2:00 pm, Thursday, April 9, 2026, both at Downing & Lahey East Mortuary.

Karen was a member of the Encouragers Gospel Study class at Central Christian Church.

Preceded in death by her father, Elmer “Pete” P. Powell and mother, Amanda Ellen Powell.

Survived by her husband, Neil Edwin Stillwell of Wichita, KS; daughter, Rebecca “Becky” (Brad) Gueblle of Maize, KS; son, Ron (Dulari) Herbel of Haysville, KS; sisters, Beverly Becker of Grand Junction, CO, Dixie (Leon) Nelson of Topeka, KS, Judy Dickenson of Buhler, KS; 8 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial has been established with Central Christian Church, 2900 N Rock Road, Wichita, KS 67226.

Services in care of Downing & Lahey Mortuary – East Chapel.
