Trent Dalton Eck, 19, passed away Friday, May 22, 2026. Rosary will be at 7:00 pm, Wednesday, May 27, 2026; Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am, Thursday, May 28, 2026, both at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Andale, Kansas.
Trent was an avid sports fan who always went all in with everything he did. He was a member of the Andale football, wrestling, golf, and track and field teams. He also enjoyed traveling, hunting, gaming, and making his family and friends laugh.
Trent is preceded in death by his grandmother, Carolyn Eck. He is survived by his parents Keith and Terra Eck; siblings, Macie, Kyla and Kelby Eck; grandparents, Kenneth Eck, Donald and Marlys Simons, and Terry Ryan; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established with: Trent Eck Foundation @ KMHM (Kansas Mental Health Medicine), 710 N. Springwood Street, Goddard, Kansas 67052 and St. Joseph Catholic Church, P. O. Box 8, 318 Rush Avenue, Andale, KS 67001.
As he described in one of his grade school poems: “I wonder how it would hurt to be Jesus with the crown of thorns on his head and I dream of being in heaven with God”
