Warren Calloway, age 89, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones on May 26, 2026. Born in New Jersey on July 9, 1936, Warren later made his home in Wichita, Kansas, where he built a life centered around family, service, and hard work.

Warren proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Air Force. Following his military service, he dedicated many years to his career at Boeing, retiring as a skilled machinist. He also served as an elementary school teacher and foster parent,

Above all else, Warren loved his family deeply. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose wisdom, strength, and caring spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his sons, Callen (Syndie) Calloway, Corey (Linsi) Hazen, and Jamel Brunson; his grandchildren, Kalyne Hazen, Alise Hazen, Fabion Meredith, Corey Hazen Jr., Nadalie Gienapp, Nevaeh Martinez, Cainan Calloway, and Charis Calloway including a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Warren was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jeanine Calloway; his parents, Warren Calloway Sr. and Lillie Haynes-Calloway; his brothers, Harold (Wilda) Calloway, Doyle Calloway, and Charles Calloway; and his sisters, Lillie Calloway-Blake and LaVilla Calloway-Dawson.

Though he will be deeply missed, his family finds comfort knowing he has now gone on to join his wife, parents, and siblings in eternal peace. His legacy of love, dedication, service, and kindness will live on through the many lives he touched.
