Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Mary was my second cousin on my mother’s side. Life dealt her a
tough hand, but she was a constant source of encouragement to
everyone around her. Rest in peace.

  2. Hi Mary! So sorry to hear of your passing, and that we never got the chance to talk more. My fault, I know – always chasing rainbows. I imagine you probably forgot all about me long ago, but I still remember you, all these years later, and often ponder what might have been. Your Father, even though we met only once, briefly, on a group bike ride, was an inspiration to me my whole life, with his good humor, wit, and deeply curious way of engaging with the world, doing great things in small ways. We bonded over bicycles. I was sad to hear he had died not long after our brief meeting – hit by a car, 3000 miles into his dream goal of retracing an 1880 round-the-world journey – by bicycle.
