Dolores Warrell, 85, died July 30, 2026.
Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00pm, Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at Downing and Lahey East Mortuary. Rosary will be at 9:30 am, Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 6, 2026, at Saint Anthony Roman Catholic Church.
Dolores was born on August 1, 1940, in Sharon, Kansas to Hermenegildo and Manuela (Ledesma) Montenegro. She married Jerry Lee Warrell on November 19, 1964. They would remain married for 60 years. She was a devoted wife and mother who loved her family and her faith. She was an accredited and accomplished manicurist as well as a talented cook.
Dolores is preceded in death by her husband and her parents; as well as siblings Gloria Ledesma, Basilisa (Bess) Lopez, John Montenegro, Mary Reyes, Frank Montenegro, Angel Montenegro, Jesse Montenegro, four siblings who died in infancy; and sister in law, Jennie Lou Schwab.
She is survived by daughter, Lisa (Alan) Rome of Tennessee; son, Dion (Renequal) Warrell of Texas; grandchildren, Lauren Rome, Katherine Rome, Dionna Warrell, Diego Warrell, Daxton Warrell, and Daeghen Warrell; siblings, Carmen (Rudy) Ramirez, Cecilia (Ephraim) Izaguirre, Esther (Peter) McDermott, and Helen Marshall; brother in law, Henry Reyes; sisters in law, Pam Montenegro and Lois Montenegro; as well as countless nieces and nephews whom she adored.
