Larry Dean Wilkerson, 85, Retired Hospital and Nursing Homeowner & Administrator, died Saturday, August 8, 2026.

Visitation will be from 6:00pm – 8:00 pm, Thursday, August 13, 2026; Funeral Service will be at 12:30 pm, Friday August 14, 2026, both at Downing & Lahey East Mortuary.

Preceded in death by his wife, Carol “Susie” Wilkerson, his parents, Margarite Wilkerson (Arthur Dodson), Benjamin Wilkerson, and his brother Ivan “Wilkie” Wilkerson.

Survived by daughter, Holly Wilkerson Stevens of Wichita; son, Grant (Denese) Wilkerson of Topeka, KS: grandchildren, Sarah Stevens (Andre’  Blanc) of Pacific Palisades, CA, Max Stevens of Austin, TX, Hannah Stevens (Christopher Squires) of Phoenix, AZ, Hayley (Mikel) Bowyer of Wichita, Hunter (Garrett) Malkuch & great granddaughter, Hallie of Lubbock, TX, Harper Stevens (fiancée: Zach Doshier) of Wichita, Hayden Wilkerson, Emery Wilkerson, Delainey Wilkerson, all of Topeka KS; sister, Elizabeth Heinrich, of El Dorado, KS; niece, Terri (Rob) Weemhoff of Oklahoma City, OK, nephews, Brad (Kelly ) Wilkerson of Chickasha, OK, Warner (Renee) Harrison of Wichita, Gordon (Lynette) Harrison of El Dorado, KS.

A memorial has been established with Topeka Round Up Club, 7843 SW 37^th St. Topeka, KS 66614.
