A little bit of magic.

A free spirit with a curious mind, a tender heart, a quick wit, and a wonderful sense of wonder.

Sheryl loved to laugh, to learn, to tell stories, and to enjoy the good things life placed in front of her. She loved people and had a way of making them feel welcome, appreciated, and loved.

She was thoughtful and kind, but delightfully herself – playful, curious, occasionally mischievous, and never afraid to enjoy life. She could find happiness in the simplest things and never quite lost her childlike sense of wonder.

For nearly 44 years, Sheryl was part of the Superior Essex family in Hoisington, Kansas. She began her career there on August 28, 1978, and retired on May 31, 2022.

Sheryl’s faith was quiet, personal, and uniquely her own. Raised Catholic, she carried a deep belief in God and held close what mattered most:

Faith. Family. Friends.

She leaves us with a reminder to stay curious, love deeply, laugh often, and never lose our sense of wonder.

She was her own beautiful spirit – and somehow, she made the world a little more magical just by being in it.

Sister, Christina Talbert and husband Larry of Great Bend, Kansas

Sister, Mary Johnson and husband Kelly of Bates City, Missouri

Sister, Elizabeth Wooldridge and husband Donald of Stillwater, Oklahoma

Sister-in-law, Kathy Lynch of Medicine Lodge, Kansas

along with many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas B. Lynch, Sr.; her mother, Betty Lynch;

her sister, Karen Jean Lynch; and her brother, Michael David Lynch.

Sheryl’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Rolling Hills Health and Rehab and Angels Care Home Health for the love, support, and comfort they gave Sheryl. A special thank you as well to her two little church ladies, as Sheryl lovingly called them, whom she so enjoyed visiting with whenever they came by to see her.
