Sending love and comfort to Bobs family! He was such a good spirit and I enjoyed caring for him for the past year at Larksfield. We all miss him and his funny nature. He will carry on in our hearts!

Robert “Bob” Zandt, 96, died September 7, 2026.
Bob was born March 7, 1930, in Milwaukee, WI and moved to Wichita in the 1960’s. He was Vice President of Engineering at Koch Engineering until he retired.
Bob loved hunting and fishing and was an avid reader. He loved traveling and took all four of his children, individually, to the country of their choice in Europe.
Above all, he was a deeply selfless man who always put his family first. His wit and charm were unmistakenly Bob and will greatly be missed by those who knew him best.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Eleanor Zandt; wife, Margot (Mayhack); and sister, Janet Moss.
He is survived by his four children, Judith (Michael) Wojcicki, Bob (Donna) Zandt, Patti (Kirk) Peterson, and Susan (Bob) Buckheit; grandchildren, Chris, Emily, Zach, Angie, Alexandra and Eric; and 12 great grandchildren.
A heartfelt thank you to the staff at Larksfield Place and Interim Healthcare. The love and devotion you provided are greatly appreciated by family.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM, Friday September 25, 2026, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. A private family internment will follow.
A memorial has been established with St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1321 N. Stratford Ln., Wichita, KS 67206.
