Ronald Henrickson, 64, passed away September 6, 2026, in Wichita, KS.

Ronald James Henrickson, known affectionately as “Ron,” left a lasting impression on all who knew him when he passed away in Wichita, KS. Born on March 29, 1962, in Clintonville, WI, Ron brought a spirit of dedication and warmth to every facet of his life. His disposition was naturally hard-working, loving, witty, protective, and supportive—traits that guided him throughout his remarkable journey.

After graduating from Clintonville High School, Ron embarked on a distinguished career in the Air Force, achieving the rank of Master Sergeant. His dedication to service did not stop upon his military retirement. He continued to contribute to the aviation and IT sectors, holding positions at notable companies such as Bombardier, Textron, and Tech Mahindra in Kansas.

Ron’s passions extended beyond his professional pursuits. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast, cherishing rides to rallies, most notably experiencing the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally’s beauty and wildness. These adventures with close friends and family made memories that will endure. At home, Ron was known as “Ron the Tool Man Henrickson,” who while not always perfect in his efforts, approached every project with a resolve that was nothing short of admirable. His woodworking crafted not just artifacts but memories that continue to grace many homes.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth, reflected in the smiles and laughter that he was known for. A great Dad and a loving man, Ron’s absence will be deeply felt by his family and friends.

Ron is survived by his loving partner, Linda Henrickson; his daughters, René Hodge and Amy (Aaron) Rowland; grandchildren, Harmony Caywood, Rythym Ziegenhorn, Jaxton Hodge, Raymond Henrickson, and Aaron Henrickson; siblings, Barb Beyer, Jean (Duane) George, Daryl (Cindy) Henrickson, Bonny Van den Bloomer, Rick (Monica) Henrickson, and Dennis (Bonnie) Henrickson; along with many stepchildren, step-grandchildren, and his cherished fur babies, will continue to hold him close to their hearts.

Sadly, Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Merl and Hilda Henrickson; sister, Joan Rebman; brother-in-law, Gary Beyer; nephew, Chris Beyer; son, Randall Henrickson; and grandson, Eli Henrickson.

Ron’s life was a testament to enduring strength and love, and while he may be gone, his spirit will remain an indelible part of our lives.

Memorial Service will be at 3:00 PM, Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Downing & Lahey East Mortuary. The service will be live streamed.
