Sven Allan Steele, beloved son, brother, and light of his family’s life died on September 20, 2026. Though his time with us was brief, Sven’s sweet personality touched everyone in ways that will live on forever.
Born on August 22, 2026, in Wichita, Kansas, Sven was a cherished son and adored little brother to his three siblings. He brought immeasurable joy to his parents and filled the home with warmth and happiness. Sven loved to be cuddled and held close. His warmth radiated from him.
Sven is survived by his devoted parents, Ryan Steele and Brittany Hillis of Mount Hope, Kansas; siblings Elik, Astrid, and Freya of the home; grandparents Gary (Nancy) Steele of Wichita, KS, Denise Seguine of Wichita, KS, Annette (John) Burns of Douglass, KS, and Zeake Hillis of Augusta, KS; and a loving circle of great grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins who cherished every moment with him.
Sven was preceded in death by his older brother, Owen, and his grandfather, Timothy Seguine.
A small, private service will be held to celebrate Sven’s life and the love he inspired. The family respectfully requests that, in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the Steele family to cover expenses. A GoFundMe has been established in Sven’s name at https://gofund.me/6fe2ac5d9
Although Sven’s life was short, our love for him will remain in our hearts forever.
