I will definitely miss Stella at family get together. She was always checking on how I was doing even with everything she was dealing with. It was so obvious how much she cared for her family. I will cherish forever the times we spent together. Fly high Stella, till we meet again.
Stella Aguilera was born on March 18, 1926, in San Gabriel, Los Angeles, California, to Roberto Gradies and Alejandre Cobas. She passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of October 13, 2026, in Wichita, Kansas.
Stella was preceded in death by her parents, Roberto and Alejandre (Cobas) Gradies; husband, Anthony G. Aguilera; her sister, Irene Shobe; her sons, Anthony R. Aguilera, Richard Aguilera, and Michael Aguilera; granddaughter in law, Jessica Aguilera; and great grandson, Jacob Aguilera.
She is survived by her sister, Gloria Taylor; her daughter, Margaret Page (Bill); her son, Gabriel Aguilera (Debbie); her daughters-in-law, Maria Elena Aguilera, Jolene Aguilera; sixteen grandchildren; forty-six great-grandchildren; and nineteen great-great-grandchildren.
Stella was an ornery, witty old soul who had a special way of bringing love and laughter to her family. She spent her retirement years living with her beloved daughter-in-law, Maria Elena Aguilera, surrounded by many of her grandchildren in the family cul-de-sac. She cherished traveling with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, shopping, gathering for family dinners, and attending church. Above all, Stella treasured her family and the memories they created together.
