  1. I was so shocked to see in the paper of Bernadettes passing. Even though we knew of her struggle to remain with us,we know now she is happy in the arms of the Lord. Our prayers are for the family.May the Lord bless you.Carole Rhiley (formally of Wal Marts fabric department).

  2. I am a cashier at Big Lots at 21 and Woodlawn and I remember when Bernadette came in several times with her mom since we have been openned the past 2 years. The last time I saw Ms. Crewse I asked about Bernadette, not knowing her name of course, and was told she had been ill. I was so sad to see her picture in the paper this morning. Now she is truly in heaven, with no pain and suffering and joking around with all the saints and angels and our Lord. My thoughts and prayers go out to the faimly and I will miss a wonderful young lady.

  3. She never understood because it was never shared. Still, I hoped it its discovery from her strength; a strength in which I once believed. I waited for her call, but it never came; I waited for her letter…but it never showed up. I remember you each day in all the beautiful songs I hear; all the wonderful things I see. I recall the double rainbow you asked God to send to me while on my way home. It was beautiful! Low in the afternoon sunlight of western Missouri. Remember Bernadette: Only themselves understand themselves and the like of themselves as souls only know souls. Ashokan Farewell
