C. L. Aiken

February 23, 1934 ~ December 1, 2020
C.L Aiken was born on February 23, 1934 and went to be with the Lord on December 1, 2020. His wife of 42 years Janet, his 6 kids, grandkids, great-grandkids, his many family, friends and his church will miss him very much. He was a hardworking man who loved to fish and cook for those he loved. C.L. liked to make people laugh and many family and friends were victim to his teasing. He was a proud member of the Masonic Lodge for 50 years. He loved the Lord and his church family. His wife stated, he was my “Babe” and I will miss him until I join him in heaven. Downing and Lahey West Mortuary.
I was the youngest of his “bonus” kids and also the youngest of all . I will always remember being woke up in the morning to him saying “ kacky wacky “ his nick name for me he started when I was 8 years old and still called me that 42 years later . He was my bonus dad and I love him very much and will miss him greatly . If there are lakes in Heaven he is fishing up a storm .
C.L. also known as Sonny, grew up in a much different time; between two world wars and without a mother at an early age. You had to be tough then to make it, but he was able to do that with a smile while sharing a joke along the way. I was glad to be a part of his legacy and feel very blessed to be a part of all of his family who adopted me along the way. There is good and bad in everyting, but the good thing is that now he can tell all his jokes while he fishes with his favorite uncle Elmer in the big pond upstairs. Much love from Oregon. May God continue to bless you all. Tim
