Carol L. Bazil, 75, Retired Retail Clerk, died Thursday, September 21, 2023.Carol was a loving mother, sister, wife, and grandmother. When she wasn’t doting on her family, she spoiled her (many) cats. In her free time, she would volunteer for the humane society and knit beanies and blankets for NICU babies. To know Carol, was to know unconditional love, compassion, and forgiveness.Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at Downing & Lahey East Mortuary.Preceded in death by her husband, Keith Bazil; daughters, Debra Draine, Rebecca “Becky” Snow, Kathy Phillips, Rebecca Bazil; parents, Donald and Mabel Singley; sister, Cheryl Franks; and brother, Ron Singley.Survived by her daughters, Carol "Susie" Wieberg of Wichita, Shellie (Robert) Cross of Cape Coral, FL, Debbie (Jerry) Tudor of Wetmore, KS; 22 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; sister, Beverly Kneuppel of Wichita.

Carol, my long lost cousin. I am so sorry that we were never close after the Divorce and you changing your name after being adopted by your Step Daddy. I also remembered our times together when we were young and I always wanted to know you after we were grown. I am glad that I was able to meet you while you was working in WalMart several years ago.
