Dearest Craig, Leslie, Pete, Pat and Family, We are so sorry for you immense loss. I know no words make it better. After losing my brother I felt such heartbreak for missing my ‘protector’ of a big brother who always watched out for me and the heartbreak of watching the grimace of pain on my fathers face for losing a son. Thats not how the timeline is suppose to be. However when I was able to look past that, I saw the incredible life like ‘Chris’ who was the embodiment of a dutiful son, husband, father, brother, uncle and all the wondrous gifts of laughter, courage, perseverance and passion for those he loved and held dear, that is you all. What an amazing legacy and a testament to you all and your incredible family. We send all of our love, adoration, and gratitude for having the great gift of knowing Chris and being a part of your life. Sincerely, David, Laura, Ashton, Kaylen and Jillian Capps

Very sorry to hear of your loss. I worked with Chris a number of years ago during the time he was at Cessna.

I am so sorry for your loss. I did not know him well but he was always very kind and sweet when I talked to him. They say death leaves a hole that nothing can heal; love leaves memories no one can steal. Hoping those memories carry you through the pain and help the hole shrink.
Shelly and Nick, I was greatly dismayed to see that my friend Chris passed away. We worked at Cessna together some years ago. I was our group admin and Chris was ‘one of mine.’ Always smiling. Always radiating energy and the joy of life. Always cracking me up with a funny comeback. We had many heart-full conversations and I will never forget Chris! He so loved you, Shelly and Nick, and always had a story to tell sweet or funny. It was obvious how proud he was and thankful to have you both. Chris was the kind of guy you were always happy to see. Im deeply sad for your profound loss.
Pete, Pat, and Chriss family,
We are so sorry for your loss and want to extend our sympathy to all of you. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you in the days ahead.

I have known Chris since our college days. When he contacted me at Boeing in Wichita when he graduated and wanted to know about any jobs, it was my privilege to help him get hired into our group. He made a great addition to Boeing and made a lasting impact on many whom had the chance to call him friend. Chris you will be missed deeply.
So sorry to hear of your tremendous loss. Know I am thinking of you and yours. Sorry I cant be with you.
Pete and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Please know that all of you are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Chris was a good friend of mine from 5th grade to 8th grade. He had character and integrity at an early age. Im sure it was due to his wonderful parents. Chris was truly a wonderful friend and I have never forgotten his positive attitude. I can only imagine that he was as great a husband and father as he was a friend. I pray heaven has gained a brother. I look forward to meeting again someday. RIP Chris. To his family I am so sorry for your loss, my prayers are with you all. Jeff McDonald from 9016 west 11th.

Cannady family,
So sorry for your loss. Chris was one of my best childhood friends and we were college roommates our freshman year at K-State. We had some great times together and I have a lot of good memories. We lost touch over the years but he was a very important part of my life and he will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.
Shelly, Nick, Pete and Pat, Craig and the Cannady family.
I am deeply saddened to hear of Chris passing. As classmates and roommates during our time as engineering students at Kansas State, I have had a flood of memories come rushing to mind. Chris was the source of frequent entertainment at our morning donut council in the K-State Union where we would gather nearly every day. His dry sarcastic wit was always on point, he was big personality in our group and a strong leader, whether kicking around campus, cramming for an exam, or blowing off steam in Aggieville. A road trip to Wichita to see Van Halen, comes to mind where I got to meet Pete and Pat and his brother Craig. Chris was my host to his hometown where I got to experience Suzy Qs chicken fried steak and curly fries, and a night out where he somehow finagled me a one night gig as the DJ at “The Magic Machine”, which somehow only paid for our bar tab when all was said and done… he was a master negotiator! As well, another road trip to Kansas City to see the Scorpions, and yet another trip to Lawrence to watch K-state play football… there are many tales, but it will suffice to say Chris was the best as both friend and accomplice. After graduation, Chris had departed to Lubbock for a job with TI, but eventually moved back to Wichita and a job at Boeing, which gave us yet another opportunity play softball and hang out with our social group. Though we grew apart as our careers went in different directions and family became central in our lives, any time we did happen to cross paths it was such a pleasure to catch up with an old friend.
I hope that the pain of your grief is somewhat lightened if only for a moment by knowing that his impact in the lives of those he met was great, his friendship was a gift and he will be remembered fondly.
Peace be with you all,
Cannady family,
