It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Christopher Scott Burge, 52, of Wichita, on Friday, March 28, 2025. Christopher was born on January 1, 1973 in Wichita, KS to Dennis and Betty (Tappan) Burge. He was a Professional Truck Driver for over 20 years. He loved being behind the wheel of his semi and enjoyed the solitude of the open road. He enjoyed fishing on Lake Superior, hunting, constructing the Lego Architect Sets and spending time with family and friends. His favorite activity was watching his check book. Christopher’s proudest accomplishment was becoming a Master Mason in 2024. Christopher will be deeply missed by his wife, Pamela; his parents, Dennis and Betty Burge; sister, Jennifer Burge; brother, Cameron Burge. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Friday, April 4, 2025, at Downing & Lahey West Mortuary. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am, Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Calvary’s Rock Church, 2661 S Meridian, Wichita. Inurnment will take place at a later date. A memorial has been established with: Haysville Masonic Lodge #112 AF & AM, 300 S.   6. The pain i feel at this moment i cant find words for. Christopher and i were great friends and he was someone i could always count on. His absence in my life for the past 8yrs has been awful and not knowing he passed until 5min ago stings. Im so sorry mom and dad burge, i love you both and pray God gives you strength and comfort
